On 3rd Dec 2011, we formally launched Poornakumbha Grameen Development Foundation in the presence of key team members at our plantation site in Gujarat. Since its inception, "Poornakumbha" has carved a niche for itself as a vital entity to support and nurture Abellon's integrated and sustainable business model, while protecting and enhancing the interests of the rural communities with which it works. The event was held to recognize this contribution and initiate the journey of Poornakumbha Gramin Development Foundation in its independent capacity.

The entire Poornakumbha team came together for the event, which began with an introduction round that established the spirit of familiarity and camaraderie amongst the team members. Following this, our MD and CEO, Mr Aditya Handa addressed the team members, affirming the importance of Poornakumbha in achieving Abellon's vision of inclusive growth through attaining economic prosperity, environmental protection and social development.

Team members also showcased their collective positive team spirit through participation in activities such as the "kumbha" hunt and skit.

The highlight of the evening was the launch of "Lakshya - The Goal" - a theme invoking the spirit of single minded focus, and a never-say-die spirit, two attributes the team will need in significant measure in its quest to achieve the objectives set before it.

The event was a perfect platform to integrate all stakeholders towards the common vision, mission and goals of Poornakumbha, and gain their commitment towards achieving the same.
