The waste management team visited the Futuresource Exhibition in London, UK, from 14th to 21st June. Futuresource is Europe's premier event on sustainability and waste management, where more than 200 exhibitors showcased equipment, processes, and technologies for waste management.

It gave the team an opportunity to network with companies based in the UK as well as Europe, get a comparative perspective on waste management, and learn about waste processing technologies. Abellon's presentation to various companies on the waste management scenario, challenges, and opportunities in India was well received and appreciated. During the visit the team also visited a plastic recycling plant, waste sorting plant, paper and plastic baling facility, and a landfill site.
