Abellon CleanEnergy Ghana Ltd. aims to contribute to the fast paced growth and overall development of the country on multiple levels including supporting industrial growth with a robust and efficient energy generation model, promoting energy independence, enhancing income and employment opportunities especially at rural community levels, transfer of R&D and technology know-how as well as opportunities for skill upgradation through intensive training, protection of the environment and natural resources of the country, and enabling it to contribute on a larger global level to the cause of mitigating climate threat.

The company has planned investments in bio energy projects including pellets manufacturing facilities and bio-power generation projects, to meet the country’s captive consumption needs as well as tap international demand for clean and carbon neutral energy solutions.

The company’s focus is also on developing a long term model for sustainable energy generation through afforestation and social forestry including productive utilization of degraded forest land for bamboo cultivation, as well as growing short rotation energy crops for continuous supply of high-quality biomass for its various projects.
